Valentina Shevchenko


Valentina Shevchenko is a professional MMA (mixed martial arts) fighter, current UFC Flyweight champion (-57 kg). She also has an impressive record in Muay Thai. Before moving on to MMA, "The Bullet" was a multi-time world amateur and professional Muay Thai and kickboxing champion (8 times IFMA gold medalist). The future star of the most prestigious MMA organization was born in Kyrgyzstan. Her mother, Elena Shevchenko, was the president of the national Muay Thai association there and was national champion in this discipline for several years. The family then relocated to Peru where Valentina began her sports career.
