Growing alongside the sport of MMA in 2000’s, VENUM forged a path within UFC by sponsoring over 200 athletes between 2009 and 2015. The brand now comes back to the octagon 6 years later to resume their partnership with UFC. Within the past 6 years, VENUM established itself as the undisputed world leader in combat sports gear & apparel. On the other hand, UFC definitely holds the position of one of the world’s biggest sports organizations. As of April 1, 2021, VENUM is the organization's exclusive in-octagon Fight Kit and Fight Week apparel . This partnership is a natural fit between the world's leading combat sports organization and the world's leading combat sports brand. VENUM's rich understanding of a UFC fighter’s unique needs during training and competition will be present throughout the entire product line, including the Fight Week apparel and Fight Kit.

A unique understanding of fighter’s needs
The true idea of the UFC | VENUM partnership has always been to understand the fighters and to give them solutions that address their training and competition needs. That’s why we chose to develop 5 types of fightshorts. The goal is to offer the possibility for the athletes to adapt their apparel to their own style of fighting. Long and short cut fightshorts, Gladiator cut and Vale Tudo (long & short cuts): each one of them has its own specific fit to improve comfort and performance whether you prefer to fight on your feet or on the ground. All of these shorts are built with stretch fabric in order to increase the range of motion. VENUM used its 15 years experience in the fight game to design the best mixed martial arts gear. VENUM combined the lateral slits of Muay Thai shorts, the compression technology of grappling gear, and specific fits like the gladiator cut inspired by kickboxing gear. VENUM also developed a complete training range, adding ergonomic Dry-Tech t-shirts and tank tops to the Fight Week collection. Our purpose is to accompany the fighters in every step of their journey, from the daily training sessions to fight night. Being 100% fighter-centric is what we aimed for with these unique UFC | VENUM product. Every detail has been designed to be useful and stylish, like the hoodies’ expandable sleeves and pant cuff of the Fight Night walkout hoodie and pant. .
